A Story for the Smarties

Hello Smarties

I found a new, exciting way for us to publish our stories called Zooburst. I made one to show you, but we'll have a go at creating one together on Thursday. Read the story at the bottom and click on the characters to see what they're thinking. I hope you like it! It was a lot of fun to make.

(If you have a webcam at home, press play, then click on "Webcam Mode" and follow the instructions. You'll get a HUGE surprise!)

Love from Mrs N

  1. Dear Mrs. N.

    Fantastic story! :-)

I found ZooBurst on the net too and I cannot believe that surprise "webcam mode" deal!

We start school again in September and I can't wait to share this new site! It's tremendous!

    Your friend,
    Mrs. Yollis

  2. Thanks Mrs Yollis

I think it's fantastic too! PLUS, I just found out that if you use webcam mode and click on "always on screen" you don't need to print anything AND you can turn the pages by waving your hand. The kids are going to love it!

  3. Dear Mrs. N,

Turning the pages by waving your hand! That's crazy! Holy cow! Wait until the kids see that trick!

    Thanks for the ZooBurst tip!

    ~Mrs. Yollis :-)

  4. Mrs N (and Mrs Yollis). I haven't got the classroom webcam on at the moment but I can't wait to try this and see, because I think I will know what will happen. Also the whole waving of the hand trick is a great idea as well, I think that our students even though being a bit older will get a great 'kick' out of it. Thanks for the tip!
